General Questions
What is SOGT?
SOGT (Sign of a Good Time) is four companies in one: a modern print services company, a skills training academy, a business automation platform, and a strategic infrastructure partner. We help everyday people, businesses, and institutions build something real through print, training, automation, and strategy.
Who do you work with?
We work with three main groups: individuals who want to learn skills or start businesses, businesses that need print services and automation tools, and institutions (schools, workforce agencies, government) that want to help people succeed.
Are you nationwide or local?
We're based in Columbus, Ohio but serve clients nationwide. Our print services include nationwide installation through our installer network, the Academy welcomes students from anywhere through workforce funding partnerships, and our digital products are available to everyone.
How do I get started?
Call us at 888-530-7986, email info@signofagoodtime.com, or use our chat assistant. We'll talk through what you need and find the best path forward. No pressure, just real conversation.
Print Services
What print services do you offer?
Large format printing (banners, posters, wall graphics), vehicle wraps and fleet graphics, custom signage (indoor/outdoor), event and trade show displays, branded apparel and merchandise, custom packaging, and nationwide installation services.
Do you do installation?
Yes! We handle installation nationwide for vehicle wraps, large format graphics, signage, and event displays. Our team travels to your location or works with trusted local partners.
How much do print services cost?
Every project is different. Small projects (banners, posters) start around a few hundred dollars. Vehicle wraps typically run $2,500-$5,000. Large installations can be $10,000+. We provide free quotes and work with your budget.
How long does it take?
Rush jobs: 1-3 days. Standard projects: 5-10 business days. Large installations: 2-4 weeks. We'll give you exact timelines when we quote your project.
Do you do custom design?
Yes! We have in-house designers who can create custom branding, logos, and marketing materials. If you already have designs, we can work with those too.
Do you only use one brand of materials?
No. We select from multiple professional manufacturers to match your project goals, durability needs, and budget—ensuring the best performance without being locked to a single supplier.
Academy & Training
What is the SOGT Print Academy?
A 6-week hands-on training program that teaches print technology, design software, equipment operation, and business fundamentals. You walk out with real skills, a portfolio of work, and confidence to pursue opportunities in the print industry.
How much does the Academy cost?
Many students pay $0 out of pocket through workforce funding programs (WIOA, SNAP E&T, vocational rehab, etc.). For individuals paying directly, we offer affordable payment plans. Contact us to discuss your situation.
Who can attend the Academy?
Anyone 18+ who wants to learn a valuable skill. No experience needed. We work with workforce agencies, schools, individuals, and anyone looking to build skills that open doors.
Do you help with job placement?
We don't guarantee jobs, but we do provide career support, industry connections, resume help, and guidance on finding opportunities. Many graduates go on to work in print shops, start their own businesses, or use the skills as a side income.
What will I learn?
Design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop), large format printing equipment operation, vinyl cutting and application, heat press for apparel, color management, file preparation, customer service, business basics, and professional workplace skills.
Is this online or in-person?
In-person, hands-on training. You need to work with real equipment to truly learn the skills. We're located in [your city] but work with organizations to bring students from other areas.
Automation & Digital Tools
What are your automation tools?
AI-powered systems that handle repetitive business tasks: customer inquiry responses, quote generation, lead qualification, social media posting, invoice follow-ups, and more. They replace the need for hiring expensive employees.
How much do automation tools cost?
Digital products and templates: $27-$297. Custom automation systems: Tier 1 (basic setup) $297-$497, Tier 2 (standard deployment) $1,200-$2,500, Tier 3 (enterprise) $5,000-$10,000. Most small businesses start with Tier 1.
Do I need technical skills to use these?
No. We build them to be user-friendly. If you can use email and basic software, you can use our tools. We also provide setup support and training.
Can you build custom automation for my business?
Yes! That's what our custom automation services do. We analyze your business, identify what can be automated, build the system, integrate it with your existing tools, and train your team.
Partnerships & Institutions
How do institutional partnerships work?
We partner with workforce agencies, schools, municipalities, and community organizations to provide training, employment pathways, and economic development support. We handle curriculum, instruction, student tracking, and outcome reporting.
What certifications do you have?
SBA 8(a) Certified, Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and Certified Small Business (state level). These qualifications make us eligible for government contracts and institutional partnerships.
Can you train our students?
Yes! We work with schools, training centers, and workforce programs. We can deliver training at your location or ours, customize curriculum to your needs, and provide ongoing support.
Do you track outcomes?
Yes. We track enrollment, completion rates, job placements, student satisfaction, and long-term success metrics. We provide detailed reporting for funding compliance and program evaluation.
